A theme is an underlying message of a story. A theme is NOT simply stating a topic (i. e. family, war, love) in the story. Instead, the theme should be written as a universal message that can be applied to anyone's life, not just the characters (ex of a theme statement: Unconditional love can endure any barrier.). Identify a theme present in "Everyday Use." Explain and support your answer with ample textual evidence.
