Better safe than sorry

Better safe than sorry means that it is better to take precautions instead of being sorry for our actions later. Once it's late things cannot be changed because time always runs forward never backward

There have been many situations that we face in our daily life where having to choose being safe would save us would from being sorry. For example:It is said that drugs, smoke, and vaping can destroy our lungs, cigarette packets give warning that it damages our health yet we smoke in the damage. And later when faced by disease we keep being sorry for ourselves with death being on our bedside

I also think the recent pandemic gives the best explain about being safe than sorry. It's slogan: stay home stay safe was never followed well and today millions of people are suffering from not only co.vid 19 but also putting their family through miseries.
