In "Mami and Papi," why does the author use sensory detail in her descriptions of the setting? She wants readers to be able to imagine the setting of Puerto Rico. She thinks that using such details will impress her parents. She knows that none of her readers can relate to her childhood. She wants to recreate scenes that she can no longer remember well.
