Scenario: A middle-school teacher is teaching a social studies lesson about different types of governments. The teacher
introduces the different government types to the class, and students analyze the pros and cons of each government
style. Then, the teacher tells students to imagine that they have landed on a remote island that does not have any
inhabitants. In order for them to survive, they must create their own government based on one of the government
