An origin story is an account or backstory revealing how a religion, group of people or even a character were created or became a protagonist or antagonist. It can explain how the world came into being, how humans and animals emerged or even how a superhero got their powers.
Brainstorm any origin stories you know whether religious, cultural, mythological or even comic book characters. If you don’t know any move on to the next task but here’s some examples:
Cherokee- believe the world hangs over the sea and one day everything will become water again
Christianity-
Batman- parents murdered and he swore vengeance
