Dear Diary,

Explanation:

Today was terrible... I got into another fight with mom because she had drank way too much beer while I was at college. She had promised me a month ago that she'd stop because if she didn't I told her I would run away, and that did stop her for a while; but not long enough. She was an absolute mess when I came home, she was sprawled over the floor next to the sofa with a couple of beer cans next too her and one that was in her hand as she chugged it down even though half of it had spilled on to her shirt and the floor. I started yelling at her reminding her about the promise and all but all she did was cry and say she couldn't help it. I stormed up to my room taking my bag and shoving clothes and stuff inside it and then ran out the front door without looking back. I had no idea where I was going or what I was going to do but I couldn't stand staying with her any longer. So here I am, sitting in the park as the sun sets while I write in you. I better get up and decide where I'm going to stay for the night so I'll write in you later.
