In part 2 chapter 4 in the stranger
What is the outcome of the trial, what is Meursault's punishment, and what do you think the author, Camus, wants the reader to feel about this? Remember, don't think about what just you personally feel, but what you think the AUTHOR intended people to feel. Use multiple examples from the text (quotes would be great, but specific examples are fine) to back up your answer. The examples can be from the trial, and also things before the trial.
