Directions: Use ABC Brainstorming
frame that you copied in your ELA
notebook or binder to complete the
warm-up.
Using the frame, try to think of a
word or phrase that begins with
each letter of the alphabet for the
topic, "To Build a Fire." Try to
fill in as many as you can in the
third row. Letters A and B are
modeled for you. Finish the third
row today and add to the others if
needed. Do not go past the third
row.
Use this strategy to help activate
your background knowledge and to
review the selection.
