From Feet to Kilometers

counts the number of times a wheel goes around. A
computer uses the dimeter of the wheel to compute the
distance traveled, changing centameters to meters. Rather
than counting wheel revolutions, automobile odometers
count the number of turns made by the car's transmission
gears. A computer changes the millimeters the gears move
