For me, reading has always been a path toward liberation and fulfillment. To learn to read is to start down the road of
liberation, a road which should be accessible to everyone. No one has the right to keep you from reading, and yet that
is what is happening in many areas in this country today. There are those who think they know best what we should
read. These censors are at work in all areas of our daily lives.
To convince readers that censors have unjust motives, the author uses rhetoric to appeal mostly to

one thousand and one nights, also known as arabian nights is a collection of stories whose basic structure is that of embedded narrative. this technique refers to a main story which works as the common frame - or framing narrative - for the other stories, and then this series of stories which are connected to the main one. this technique can also be referred to as a story within a story. the stories stem from the original tale, some begin and end on their own, some are connected to the previous or following one, by means of questions that are answered in the subsequent tale, or characters which reappear.

is very stupid, big and strong and sweet, he loves soft things

george

is smart reosponible and watches over lennie

candy

candy is an old ranch worker who has lost one of his hands in a farm accident. he's spent the best years of his life working on someone else's ranch, only to lose his hand and have little money.

curly

is the ranch owners son he is said to have vasilene in one glove to keep that hand soft for his wife

crooks

crooks. crooks is a lively, sharp-witted, black stable-hand, who takes his name from his crooked back. like most of the characters in the story, he admits that he is extremely lonely. when lennie visits him in his room, his reaction reveals this fact.

curlys wife

is lonly and seems to flirt with most of the men on the farm she does not like her hunband much.

1. the human rights issue in the novel is equlity the men in the story are poor and curly is mean to all of them as if they are just dirt

2. the first issue comes up when lennie kills the mouse

3. when lennies love for soft things gets in the way and he kills curlys wife as shes running away.
