Paul's father says he will be punished and he will not be allowed to get to Ghost Wind again. Paul was not the one responsible for Ghost Wind's injuries. He takes Robert's help  His father was upset because his prized horse was bleeding. By taking the blame, Paul changes Michelle's viewpoint on him. Paul's knees go weak as he is scared of Michell.
