This project provides the opportunity for you to write three paragraphs, one for each of the topic descriptions given below. Because you will be writing for different purposes (to inform, to entertain) you will need to pay close attention to the major differences between each type of paragraph. Return to the lesson "Paragraph Structure” to review these differences.

1. In a short expository paragraph (4-8 sentences), introduce and discuss three questionable persuasive tactics that authors use in making arguments.
