Teen Activism
Teen activists work to make the world a better place. They do work that takes courage and time. It takes hard work! Some teen activists have obstacles. Some obstacles are people not knowing the importance of their cause, no way of spreading the word or having people and enemies standing in the way.
Some people may not always understand the importance of the cause. For example, one teen activist with the obstacle is Malala, in the video the people of Pakistan had no idea that education for girls can educate a family, a city, and even a generation, and once they learned that they were all aboard. Igbal also faced these challenges when he became an activist against child labor. Most people think it is okay to use kids as tools but it's scars and tires them out. Alex Lin faced this as well. In the video he said that at the age of 9 he started to recycle computers because throwing them out causes pollution when you can refurbish them instead.
A second set of obstacles that activists faced are no ways of spreading the word. Again, the same three activists fit the bill. Igbal traveled across seas to America to tell a group of 6th graders in Massachusetts about child labor. After Igbal died five months later they made a website for him. The money raised was used to build schools in Pakistan for former child labor kids. Next, Alex Lin had to spread his message about the harm of throwing out computers on the environment. But not by making a website. He spread the message the old-fashioned way, by talking to people. He told it to friends and families. Malala had to spread the word about girls' education by going on the news and talking about her story and cause due to the Taliban shutting down her school.
Lastly, people or enemies may stand in your way. Alex Lin had to fight against the government so that people could recycle what would be wasted computers and computer chips into brand new makes and models. Another source of people standing in an activist way is when the Taliban wanted to stop Malala from bringing back schools by shooting her, but she wasn't killed. She survived and raised new schools with Malala funds. Igbal endured this also. Igbal was a child slave at 4 so his parents could pay off a $12 debt. Before he escaped he worked six long years making carpets. at 10, he had a lot of experiences as a child slave and started his journey to stop it.
When you have a strong, powerful cause you will face obstacles on your way to success. People may not know your cause's importance, no way of Spreading the News or people are enemies in your way. So next time you see a teen activist, be a support, not an obstacle. They already have enough on their plate while trying to make the world a better place.

She took up a scalpel and slit the monkey's abdomen, making a slow and gentle cut, keeping the blade well away from her gloved fingers. the spleen was puffed up and tough, leathery, like a globe of smoked salami. she did not see any bloody lesions inside this monkey. she had expected that the monkey's interior would be a lake of blood, but no, this monkey looked all right, it had not bled into itself. if the animal had died of ebola, this was not a clear case. she opened up the intestine. there was no blood inside it. the gut looked okay. then she examined the stomach. there she found a ring of bleeding spots at the junction between the stomach and the small intestine. this could be a sign of ebola, but it was not a clear sign. it could also be a sign of simian fever, not ebola. therefore, she could not confirm the presence of ebola virus in this animal based on a visual inspection of the internal organs during necropsy.
