Throughout most of this narrative, tension builds in the plot. However, the author fails to establish tension early in the story. Rewrite the bold section of this story so that there is tension at the outset of the narrative.

the sun warms our planet, and with the moon, creates the tides. the moon orbits the earth and in turn, the earth orbits the sun. because they appear to be the same size in the sky, the sun, earth and moon work together to create eclipses. when the moon is directly in between the earth and sun

different routes can lead to sammy to different places, with different roads.   if you check a map, you can see the routes.   try to make connections of the places and count how many there are.   hope this : )
