This is an anecdotal detail(fictional), since it isn't feasible for individuals to have wings and fly. This is just obvious in the story, a piece of the creator's creative mind.

This is a real detail(factual) , in light of the fact that the boats are frequently packed and individuals do experience the ill effects of ocean ailment, in actuality.

In this passage, it is stated that: "The ones that could fly shed their wings. They couldn't take their wings across the water on the slave ships". This is a fictional detail, because it is not possible for people to have wings and fly. This is only true in the story, a part of the author's imagination. Moreover, it is stated that:  "The folks were full of misery, then. Got sick with the up and down of the sea." This is a factual detail, because the ships are often over-crowded and people do suffer from sea-sickness in real life.

This is an excerpt from a 1985 collection of twenty four folktales by Virginia Hamilton, The People Could Fly. The book genre is folklore, while the book includes animal tales, supernatural tales, fairy tales, and also tales of the enslaved African people. In the book, African people moved to the United States as slaves discover that they have a power to fly.

the error in the sentence is a "dangling modifier". a dangling modifier is a phrase, word or clause that "dangles" because there is not target to modify. in this case, "after mopping the floor" is the dangling modifier since it has no word to modify. the noun "house" cannot mop the floor; therefore there is a mistake in the writing of the sentence.
