The argument between conservationists and preservationists continues today. Remember that conservationists want to manage and use the natural resources that might be in public lands such as National Parks. Preservationists believe that nature should be protected and saved from use by people. Today, for example, there are disagreements about drilling in the Arctic because although we need the oil, it would upset the delicate balance of nature in an already threatened area. In two or three paragraphs tell whether you would consider yourself a conservationist or a preservationist and explain.
