How did the rain affect lencho's fields?

 His fields will yield rich crops due to these raindrops

 The rain was not filled with water drops instead it was raining hail. Lencho compared it to the coins  , the big drops as 10centavo pieces while the small drops as 5centavo pieces. The hail storm ruined the fields the crops were damaged , the tress were laid bare nothing was left of there corns and beans.
