How did Shaw's characters wrestle with the class issue?

In Pygmalion, we watch a general society divided, isolated by language, education, and riches. Shaw allows us to perceive how that hole can be connected, both effectively and fruitlessly. As he depicts it, London society can't just be characterized by two terms, "rich" and "poor."
