China which was also assisting America in distributing oil products was not liked by Japan which planned to annex china and expand its boundaries. This annoyed US and it inflicted trade Embargo on the ports which carried steel supply to Japan. Japan which considered steel to be important for manufacturing arms and ammunition could not tolerate this move of halting trade by US. Pear Harbor attack aimed at destroying the oil tankers and vessels of US and more than thousand lives of the civilians were taken.
