maya stared in dismay at the table strewn with textbooks and notes, and sighed. “well, what’s the verdict? do you know what you want to do? ”
“i think i know what i want, and i’m pretty sure i know what your preference is,” rin said to maya. she turned to look at me. “bianca, what topic do you want to cover? ”
i looked over at nina, who just shrugged. “at this point, our group just needs to pick something or we’re never going to finish the project on time,” i pleaded.
