While Federigo has a big heart i spending money, even sacrificing his dearest Falcon for the love and honor of Giovanna, three rioters were killed when the two of them hatched a conspiracy while the one who went to fetch food planned the death of the two. In Federigo's case, the hero got the return he craved for and in Pardoner's Tale three of them were paid fittingly for their greed.
