it was a scorching day for me at the inn. i was mom clean up as normal so my dad wouldnât get any sâcker then he was. i knew his time was coming when he would take his last breath, but i tried to keep a positive mind set. âcan you clean all the tables and beds for me jim? â with giving a second for me to respond she â you! â âi might as well clean the whole house mom! â i said back sarcastically. luckily, she didnât hear what i said back, or i wouldâve got popped right in the lip, so hard my jaw wouldâve been knocked right off. i turned around to get to work dusting every table, then polishing emâ. then i began beating the dust out of the sheets dipping them in the fresh bucket oâ water and hanging them on the line to dry. later that night my father called me to his room on the second deck. âson, i love you and if i werenât this darn sick i would have done so much for you. i wish i couldâve done more for your mother to. i want you to her âround the house doing all the chores you can do. â i already do enough! â i wined back. âsometimes enough for you just aint enough for others.â the conversation was short as a stick then i hit the sack. i woke the next mornâ and sat down on one of the hard wood stools to eat my fluffy biscuit. when i heard someone coming to the front of the inn i turned around in the back oâ my seat to see who was at the door. the man took a while to open the door. he finally pushed it opened and wobbled in the room. he was an old seaman. i could tell by the coat and how he walked like a ship was rockâin. âgood mornââ he said to me. i said nothing and just watched him.

One element of lyric poetry is personal reflection. which lines in this poem most clearly illustrate that element? i wandered lonely as a cloudby william wordsworthi wandered lonely as a cloudthat floats on high o'er vales and hills, when all at once i saw a crowd,a host, of golden daffodils; beside the lake, beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze.continuous as the stars that shineand twinkle on the milky way.they stretched in never-ending linealong the margin of a bay: ten thousand saw i at a glance, tossing their heads in sprightly dance.the waves beside them danced; but theyout-did the sparkling waves in glee: a poet could not but be gay.in such a jocund company: i gazed and gazedâbut little thoughtwhat wealth the show to me had brought: for oft, when on my couch i liein vacant or in pensive mood, they flash upon that inward eyewhich is the bliss of solitude; and then my heart with pleasure fills, and dances with the daffodils.
