Would people with higher education be more likely to believe in creation according to church teaching or be swayed by scientific explanations for our existence? the ancient greeks were highly scientific in their thinking yet they accepted paul's message that built faith and belief upon a scientific/ philosophical base. today's scientists are significant in numbers who are atheists. they are advocating their own views that deny the existence of a higher power. provide the reason why you believe in the church or the perspectives of an atheist (there are about 34 percent who claim they are atheists today.)
