there is wild disorder as neighbors, children, birds, cart-
peddlers, other livestock, all run into each other in the
frenzy caused by the chickens.
suddenly, the people hear a loud roar, louder even than
the noise they've been making. everyone stops - even the
chickens - and looks up the street to see the source of the
sound
