The topic can be related to anything from crimes, politics to any other serious issue. In this kind of journalism, months and even years are spent in gathering information and preparing a report. And this kind of journalism can lead to an invasion of privacy. In this type of journalism, one needs to dig deeper for more information about a certain topic in order to write the report which most of the time leads to revealing of disturbing incidents and matters of the personal lives of the people involved with it.
