The vampire slayer by: wildfire

i was in my room listening to my music. her mother, amber, was downstairs on the couch watching tv. there was a crash in the backyard. i got up and looked outside and i just seen trash cans on the other side of the road, tipped over. i sighed and laid back on my bed. my heart was pumping so hard, i giggled a little. i slowly started to fall asleep, but before i did i got up and was headed down the stairs to the bathroom. i looked around and didn’t see my mom on the couch so i figured she was in her room asleep. so i went to the bathroom, when i got out the tv turned on. i stared at it for a few minutes then shook my head and turned it off.

i went back upstairs and closed my door before i laid back down on my bed. the window was open, so, i went over to the window. before i started closing it i seen a black figure in the street, then, a big semi-truck hit him but the semi didn’t stop and there was no blood on the road. when the semi-truck passed the figure wasn’t there. i wonder where it went or at least what it was, “maybe i don’t want to know what it was” i thought to myself. so, i closed my window quickly then i closed the curtains so no one would look at me outside, if anyone wanted to.

i woke up the next morning, monday 23 1995, school day. i looked around then at the clock “that’s funny i’m late for school today, i wonder why mom didn’t wake me up.” i got ready and brushed my hair and teeth. i walked down stairs screaming happily, but, worried “mom! mom where are you silly? ” i looked in the kitchen then on the couch, i didn’t see her. i walked to her bedroom “mom? you in there? ” i knocked on the door, no answer. so i knocked again but still no answer. i opened the door and i see a black figure. i knew it was mom so i ran over to her and hugged her. when i did she was wet with something sticky, so was her bed.

i walked over to the light switch and flicked the light on. my heart was pounding so hard. my mother was on her bed blood running down her neck, two teeth bites on her neck. i stared at her and started to cry, i tried to shake her awake but it didn’t work. i ran in the kitchen and got the phone. i dialed 911, but, no one picked up. it was busy. i hung up and tried to dial 911 again. finally, someone picked up, sounded like a young lady “911, what’s your emergency? “i just breathed heavily and didn’t think on what to say. “my mother, she’s dead. she’s pale and there’s two bite marks on her neck.”

“okay ma’am. where do you live? ” she was so calm about it i thought i lost my mind about this.” 205 johnson road.” i walked over towards mom’s bed crying. “okay ma’am the ambulance is on their way.” i hung up the phone and stared at my mother. “how, why did this happen to me? ” i thought to myself “this is all my fault.” 15 minutes after the call, the cops came and knocked on the door. i opened it up and the cops stood there. “hello ma’am” my eyes were red and tears were down my face, “h-hello officer” i had a rough voice after all that crying.

“did you call 911 for the cops and ambulance? ” i looked at them as they were looking me up and down, i forgot i had blood all over me from my mother after i hugged her. “y-yes sir” i backed away from the door so the cops can come in. they looked at me then walked in. “do you know who it was that killed your mother or was it you” i stared at them “no i do not know who did it and no i did not kill my own mother. i loved my mother why would i kill? ”
