If you hadn't noticed before, a whole lot of things had to go wrong for the play to end as it did. many different people made decisions that, looking back, probably weren't the wisest. but who is guilty and who is just unfortunate? in the last lines of the play, the prince promises that "some shall be pardoned, and some punished" (v, iii, 324). we never find out who. more than four hundred years have passed since the writing of this play, and prince escalus wants some answers. you have chosen to lead a special investigative task force charged with bringing the guilty party or parties to justice. objectives develop and defend an interpretation of events in romeo and juliet. use a literary text to defend a position. write an essay of at least 500 words. me its for english and its about romeo and juliet. for the people that do me.
