Ihave to answer this question using the races strategy but i don't know how to do so.
"consider the line: “my heart grew sick; it was the dampness of the catacombs that made it so.” (paragraph 89) what insight into the narrator’s point of view does this line likely provide the reader? cite evidence from the story to support your response."
and this is what i have," in the last paragraph at the end of the story, the narrator has put the last stone on the wall. thus meaning death. montresor associates his feeling of sickness to the humidity of the catacombs and is glad he has taken revenge on fortunato. montresor's last words are "in pace requiescat," (paragraph 30) meaning "may he rest in peace." he does not want to assume his guilt for killing fortunato. i need to retate the question still but i dont know how.
