a multitude of fast food items consist of high levels of saturated fat, specifically hamburgers. foods high in saturated fat typically increase your consumption of bad cholesterol. as cholesterol levels are elevated in your bloodstream, the excess cholesterol can harden into nasty plaque. plaque interferes and clogs the flow of blood through your blood vessels. this results in an increase in blood pressure along with an increased risk of developing heart disease.
