suddenly elevated. i glanced out the window and didn't see
her in the backyard. "send out the drone."
within moments, benzino was relaying an image of
maggie leaning against a tree and holding her ankle. we
both trotted out through the backyard and into the woods.

wrapped her little arms around benzino and cried, "i knew
you'd rescue me! "
i stood by awkwardly as benzino began to assess her
injury.
