So I believe that even if Gatsby tried to show to the world that he really believed in the person he portrayed, as the real one, in the end, it was still a lie. And the saddest part is that this comes to be evident when no one, absolutely no one, attends Gatsby´s funeral despite the fact that when he was alive, people would flock to his parties like moths to a flame.
