My favorite actor is Keanu Reeves, who was born in 1964 in Lebanon. He gained his first experiences in front of a camera in small productions of Canadian TV. In 1986 he played a hockeyist in "Youngblood". Then, in 1988, he played an episodic role in a melodrama "Dangerous Liaisons". That's how he began his carrer. In the following years he played many other roles and worked with many world-class directors. He created fantastic figures in various kinds of movies, among them (but not limited to): "My Own Private Idaho" (1991), "Little Buddha" (1993) or "Speed" (1994). The last one earned more than 121 mln dollars and therefore made Keanu much more famous and appreciated in the film industry. He played an important role next to Al Pacino in "The Devil's Advocate" (1997), however he gained a status of superhit actor after "The Matrix" (1999), where he played the main character, Neo. Nowadays he's one of the richest actors in the world.
