How does jonathan swift's gulliver's travels comment on the ties that bind together a family community or nation

The story itself reflects the author’s criticisms of the practices and beliefs of people in England.  He takes criticism through the observations made by Gulliver on the different groups of people that he meets.  He ridicules the practices that they do and how they make a big deal out of nothing.
