Why was ann frank angry with her mother?

Anne Frank, being headstrong, could butt heads with her mother at time. She was largely misunderstood, and going through a tough time. Anne felt distant from her mother and older sister, Margot. She mentioned that she could feel herself drifting from them in her diary.
