The whole town is very judgemental of the Duvitch family and avoid and tattle about them. The town considered them to be untouchables and made the remainder of the community look bad by their budgetary and living circumstance.  

On a dad child angling excursion, Andy and his sibling Tom poison the Duvitch's fish supply from that day. Andy's dad is angry and influences them to apologize to the Duvtch's. Also, he makes them discover all that they lose.  

Since the siblings were so noteworthy with their discipline, the Duvitchs welcome their whole family over for supper. The two families eat together at the Duvitch house and Andy's family before long acknowledges they are entrancing individuals.
