"I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” was written by William Wordsworth's in 1815, and is considered a lyric poem where the author refers to the beauty you find in nature. Because is considered lyric, it is written expresing the feelings of the author when is describing the scenario.

In this case, on April 15, 1802, Wordsworth walked with his sister, Dorothy, next to a beautiful lake at Grasmere, England.

The poem has a very simple message: it describes the emotion the poet feels when is in nature, seeing the landscape, contemplating the lake and the flowers.  The effect he tried to convey is the relationshio of humans with mother nature.
