In what ways did the british try to strengthen their control over the colonies after the french and indian war ?

Taxation, inflation and specific tarrifs designed to keep them close to home. Also trading was restricted therfore the colonies were made more dependent on their mother country and were wekeaned as a rsult of all these aspects.
