Due to to generalized economical downturns it is not easy for the youth to find a job and long unemployment periods can lead to them trying to find an easier solution by participating in illegal activities. Also is true that people with more barriers to enter in the laborforce usually come from lower income families, which live in more insecure neighbourhoods where is easier to have access to illegal networks.  Therefore, more arguments in this line could be provided to prove that actually the problem is due to social inequality and not due to mothers entering the laborforce.
