Screen time should be limited for teens because it is discouraging and can make teens self conscious. If a teen is spending hours scrolling through hundreds of beautifully photoshopped pictures of their classmates, friends or family, they will start to feel as if they are less than. If a teen were to watch hours and hours of well dressed, covered in makeup and well rehearsed actors and actresses, they will once again start to feel less than and self conscious. However, Teens should be aloud to watch TV and have social media, but the amount of time spent on each of them should be monitored.
