Describe the major difference between real-life crime scene investigations and the investigations shown on television.

The crime investigations shown on the television are often apart of a show, so the entire scene is scripted out and the "detectives" already know previous all the major hints to solve the said crime. So it could take those "detectives" days to solve a case.
Meanwhile in real life everything is unknown, everything because possible and everything is a variable until evidence can prove what was possible and what was not possible. Real life crime cases can take up to months, even years and still many are not solved.
