Why would a signature item, such as distinctive button or tag, be considered a need even if it was not essential to the item’s function? -f someone powerful in the company thought it was a good idea -if the designer had a surplus of the item at the warehouse -if it plays an important role in brand recognition -there is no circumstance in which such an item would qualify as a need.
