In this poem, the writer is trying to convince the reader that life has so many beautiful things to offer. The figurative language in this poem is trying to make it so that we can understand better the beauty of life. "Music is like a curve of gold", is comparing music to something that is very valuable to us today, gold! Or another example, "Holy stars that star the night." That is comparing the thoughts we have to the many stars in the sky. I think that it is saying our thoughts are as beautiful as abundant as the stars.

The simple rhythmic scheme in this poem attracts more attention to what she is saying to you personally. I think that she is not trying to get us to focus on how she wrote the poem, I think she is trying to get us to understand what she is saying and what it means. "Life has loveliness to sell", or, live your life and enjoy it while it lasts!
