At an underground coal mine a development heading for a longwall panel has intercepted a fault. The last surveyed station in the roof of the seam was found to
have co-ordinates of E 2788.86, N 5222.92 and RL 2674.00. The seam is very
regular to the west of the surveyed station with a rate of true dip of 4°20'
descending in the direction of 125°20'35". A vertical borehole was drilled at E
3402.76, N 5292.97 and the top of the seam was found to be RL 2658.31.
Calculate the displacement caused by the fault.
