Series motor takes (80 A) on full-load voltage (400 V) and runs at (1000 r. p.m) the armature resistance is (0.2 Q) and the series winding resistance is (60 m2). 1- Determine the resistance to be connected in series to reduce the speed to (700 r. p.m) with same current. 2- Determine the speed when developing full load torque but with a (0.15 ) diverter in parallel with the field winding.
