In meteorology, an explanation of ”dry air heats up faster than moist air” is often provided to explainwhy dry areas of the country (central U. S.) seem to ”heat up faster” than coastal parts of the country(eastern U. S.). Is this statement true? Provide a calculation to support your answer.
