In a mixer (see image), due to use, a weight of 10 kg of cement was accumulated. This caused it to start to vibrate out of the ordinary and damage the bearing. Additionally it damaged an internal paddle. This was repaired with 100 grams of solder. The repair zone is located 45 cm from the center of rotation of the main shaft which is 3 ”thick. On this axis there is another pallet that has the same dimensions (60 cm long from the axis of rotation) and that is in the opposite direction to the damaged pallet. Mixer works at 20 RPM As an engineer, what is the solution to get the mixer up and running again?
