Design a beam for a 26 ft simple span to support WD = 2 k/ft, WL = 3 k/ft and a concentrated load of PL = 20k at midspan. The beam is fully braced. The maximum permissible deflection is 1/1000 of the span. Use LFRD method and Fy = 50 ksi. Consider moment, shear, and deflection.
