Methane flows through a 300 m horizontal pipe with an internal diameter of 15 cm at 20 oC isothermally. It leaves the pipe at a pressure of 200 kPa. If the mass flow rate is 15 kg/s and the fanning friction factor is 0.003, calculate the pressure at the pipe inlet. Express your answer in kPa. You can assume molecular weight of methane to be 16 g/mol. You may ignore the kinetic contribution in your calculation.
