Consider a long sheet metal duct (AISI 1010, k = 63.9 W/m ∙ K) whose outside diameter is 80 mm and inner diameter is 70 mm. Hot water at 70℃ is flowing steadily inside the duct, with a mean velocity of 0.5 m/s. Winds at a temperature 20℃ directly blow across the outside of the duct at a velocity of 5m/s. Assuming the flow inside the duct is fully developed. Determine the rate of heat loss per meter of the duct.
