A straight galvanized iron pipe is used to carry water at 20 °C from reservoir A to reservoir B that is 1.4 km away. There is an elevation difference of 20 m between the two reservoirs and a sudden expansion halfway between where the pipe expands from 20 cm to 40 cm. Determine the discharge. Draw the EGL and HGL between the two reservoirs (directly on this picture).
